Hi friends! Ever since I began my Beachbody 21 Day Fix Challenge (22 days ago to be exact!), I have been raving to practically everyone I talk to about Shakeology. Since I am such a fan of a real, whole-food diet, I never gave a ‘meal replacement’ like this a second thought. How could a powdered shake be better than real food?? Welp, I stand corrected. Shakeology is amazing and I won’t blab on about it, if you’re interested in learning more about it watch this & this, and here’s my Shakeology site with more details.
I bought a sort of sample pack of Shakeology flavors so I could decide which I wanted to stick with, & so I could play around with recipes for each of the flavors– Chocolate, Vanilla, & Strawberry. I have found and tweaked several recipes that I will share later on. Despite my resolve to keep trying new things… this week, I have found myself having the same shake every. single. day: Pumpkin Pie Shakeology.
Yes, friends. I’ve had a pumpkin pie shake every day this week. And I feel amazing. And so FULL! This is super filling with the added pumpkin. And if I want an extra dose of greens, I often add some spinach or kale (I cheat and buy the frozen bags.. SO EASY!) 😀 Anyways..like I said, I don’t think it’s a rut if it’s truly delicious. This stuff has made me even more excited to do my 21 day fix workout for the day… because this is my reward after!! LOVE!
My current problem… the commissary is out of pureed pumpkin (GASP)! ..and Brits think our pumpkin-consumption is weird. Any American friends want to send a case of pumpkin puree my way?? 😉 I’d love you forever.
The recipe is below. Happy pumpkin-loving! #yesiknowitsonlyseptember
