Hi friends! Happy Monday! Serious question.. where has September gone?? Here in England, everyone celebrates September with festivals and apple picking. Last year, we visited the Queen’s estate at Sandringham and came home with more apples than we could ever use.. despite my insistence that we would (picking apples is just so fun! Wasn’t ready to stop…). This year, we squeezed in a last minute visit to the Apple Festival at Audley End House. Recap: beautiful estate, the most perfect fall kitchen garden I’ve ever seen, live folk music, apple tasting, apple ciders (one bearing my name! “Lady Jennifer” haha), & apple chutneys… & perfect fall weather (for admiring all things apple)!
In celebration of apple season (especially since I sort of jumped right on to pumpkin train starting.. September 1st…), I created this Nutty Apple Pie Shakeology. Craving some cinnamon-apple deliciousness? Try this easy and super-healthy concoction… and let me know how you like it! It’s a smooth, perfect blend of apple and spice, with that earthy warmness that we love about apple pie! Feels indulgent every time, but it’s still the healthiest meal of your day in that hang-your-head-to-the-side-and-catch-the-last-drop-from-the-blender kind of way that’s so great about Shakeology. No shame, it’s delish.
As always, these shakes are quick and make the perfect breakfast or lunch! Enjoy, friends.. & please let me know what you think if you try it. Recipe card and 21 day fix breakdown below! xoxo
